It is necessary to apply for a visa to attend the IROS 2006 in Beijing for participants from many countries. Participants from a few countries can enter into China without a visa. It is suggested that the participants check with the Chinese Embassy or Consulates in their countries on whether they need a visa.

For those who need a visa, they can apply for one of the following two types of visas to attend the IROS 2006:

Business Visa (F Visa):

1. To apply for a business visa, you may need an official invitation letter from us.

   Please email or fax us
   (a) Your full name in passport;
   (b) Personal information: nationality, gender, date of birth;
   (c) Passport number;
   (d) Contact information: mailing address, telephone number, and fax number.

   We will send you an official invitation letter as soon as possible.
    

2. For participants from a few countries, they may need a visa notification form (a very official visa document). If you need the visa notification form, please fax (our fax number is 852-26036002) us the following items:
   
   (a) A copy of the page of your passport that shows your passport number, nationality, full name, gender, date of birth, and other personal information;
   (b) Contact information: mailing address, telephone and fax number, and email address.

   Since it takes 3-4 weeks to obtain the visa notification form from the authority, please act as soon as possible.
    

3. Please note that there are NOT many countries from which the participants need the visa notification form. Please directly check the information with Chinese Embassy and Consulates.
    

Tourist Visa (L Visa):

Participants can also attend IROS 2006 by a tourist visa. To apply for the tourist visa, please check the application details with Chinese Embassy or Consulates in your country.

To book your tours, please fill out the IROS 2006 Tour Form (PDF, Word) and send it  back to CYTS with the appropriate payment.  Please be noted that the deadline of pre-conference tour reservation is September 30, 2006. Please kindly submit your tour form before the deadline. Otherwise we can not guarantee your booking. For reservation of half/full day city tour, you can also do it at the tour desk during the conference
